What is Youth and Government?
Youth and Government is a student-driven simulation of state government for Missouri youths in grades 8-12, engaging them in legislative processes.
Who can participate in YAG?
Any student in grades 8-12 from Missouri can participate. YMCA membership is not required for participation.
What happens at the State Conference?
At the State Conference, participants debate legislation, engage in trial competitions, and run for elected offices within the mock government.
How can I get involved?
Students can join local delegations, register for the event in the fall, and prepare for the conference throughout the year.
